NBR: Bday gift for 3 yo

We're attending a 3rd birthday party for our friends' daughter tomorrow. They are trying not to make a big deal out of it, keeping it simple with just some food, cake and drinks.  We were told we did not need to bring gifts (not because they are heartless but because she'll get gifts from them, her grandparents, etc. and they don't feel like it's their friends' obligation to get bday gifts for their daughter).  That being said, their daughter is seriously so fun and sweet, and I would really like to get her something small.  Does anyone have any non-toy suggestions?  She likes going to the movies, so I was thinking maybe a Fandango gift card or something. I seriously have no idea. Halp!

maybe you could buy a DVD or something with a tub of popcorn so they can stay in and have a movie night.

We took my 2yo DD to build a bear for her birthday and she loved it. Maybe a gift card there if you have one near by. Or maybe a gift certificate to a local zoo or aquarium?

I just bought a disney princess playdo set for my nieces 3rd birthday. It was from target orig. 21.99 but down to 10.99 with their cartwheel app...im all about good deals!

Is there one of those bouncy/inflatable stuff places near them? My nieces all love those places. I also love the Build a Bear suggestion.

Laurie Berkner band dvd. My 3yo dd wants to spend her whole life watching that lately. Play dough is great. There are also lots of little Art things. Those are great because kids can play with them But it's not totally clutter. And stickers. Always stickers.
