Weight Loss Check In- Arms

Good Morning Ladies! 
So @beaubecca's working mom's check in inspired this week's thought... How sick do you have to be to not work out? Way back when I had time to listen to podcasts and didn't have to be quiet when I got ready for work, I listened to Jillian Michael's podcast and in one of them she explained when it was okay to work out and when you should rest.  It was basically if it was from the neck up, work out but ease up on the intensity, neck down, take a break.  I don't follow this rule and skip any workout when I don't feel well :P

  • How much have you lost this week?Since last check in I'm still the same. Which doesn't surprise me since I was sick last week lol.
    How much so far? 11lbs
    Challenges and hurdles this week? None really.
    How'd you overcome them?
    What's your favorite arm workout? Kettle bell or bench press
    How sick do you have to be to skip a workout? Well last week I was nauseous, tired, bad headaches, and dizziness. So that stopped me lol

    0 zilch NOTHING (and I'm pissed about it)

    Challenges and hurdles this week? How'd you overcome them? 

    Power of suggestion.  DH can suggest anything and then I'll make any excuse in the book to figure out how we can get it... So I asked him to be on board with me. No watching Dinners Drive-Ins and Dives either.  

    What's your favorite arm workout? 

    I struggle with these... I guess push-ups or bicep curls. 

    How sick do you have to be to skip a workout?

    As I mentioned earlier, I pretty much make up any excuse in the book to try and get out of a workout.  I've done pretty well this week though and make it through 6 consecutive days of 30DS with no breaks.  My goal is to actually do the whole 30DS plan without breaks because I've never actually done it before!

    How much so far? 12 lbs edit I am loving Weight Watchers. I am not losing quickly but I am still eating thebsame food as before, just being smart about it. I am almost surprised this is working because I am eating a lot of food.

    Challenges and hurdles this week? How'd you overcome them? Too many family birthdays that I can not skip. Also, A was sick and that threw me way off a couple of days.

    What's your favorite arm workout? I have no idea.

    How sick do you have to be to miss a workout? If I feel sick at all I miss a workout. If I have nasal congestion but I feel good otherwise I will exercise. If I feel weak, achy, sick, tired or worn out I will skip it. This is referring to when I did exercise or whem I will start again. I am still doing my walking right now. I plan on starting in about 2 weeks.

    Challenges and hurdles this week? Not over eating
    How'd you overcome them? stoped before I felt over full
    What's your favorite arm workout? push-ups
    How sick do you have to be to skip a workout? On the couch sick.

    Challenges and hurdles this week? Sick baby, whiny husband who refuses to eat healthy
    How'd you overcome them? Clearly I didn't.
    What's your favorite arm workout? Row machines
    How sick do you have to be to skip a workout? Depends. Sometimes I feel like I just have to "sweat it out". If that's the case I'll work out to try and get rid of it. Other times I'll just take to walking and getting some fresh air. Usually staying bed makes me feel worse/takes longer to recover
