Wear a sports bra (or two) all the time - even in bed. Do not touch them at all - this will stimulate more milk. I also used cold cabbage leaves tucked in my bra. It stinks, and seems kind of weird, but it helps with the pain, and my doctor swore it would dry up the milk. It took about a week for my milk to dry up. Sorry Hun. It's painful - physically and emotionally.

same advice as pp's- I wore two sports bras all of the time except for in the shower...don't touch them for any reason and make sure the water in the shower doesn't hit them. Cabbage leaves felt great.
I called for meds to stop the milk and my OB said they don't do that anymore...your OB may be different.
so sorry you are having to deal with this!!!

Wear a sports bra as tight as you can handle it and I also put the cabbage leaves in my bra and it did help. And do not let warm water hit it. Can make it worse. What I did was use cold baby wipes to wipe them down and in between because the smell of he cabbage was terrible. It does go away believe me. So sorry you are going through this
Its like nature's cruel joke, isnt it? When the nurse told me my milk would come in because my body didnt realize what happened to the boys, I freaked out. My milk came in four days later. I must have grown two cup sizes. Sports bras are the only thing that helped me - the tightest sports bras ever. I was on some pain medication when I came home, so that helped too. I hope they gave you something.
I got a prescription to dry them out. 1 pill did the trick. Now if I would stop bleeding it would be great. It's that annoying end of your period stuff....but has been a week of this.
@veetveet the bleeding can be a pain too! I was bleeding for three weeks and then one day no blood and the next day id be bleeding again! Once you think it's done, wear a liner just to be safe!
Re: breast milk.....seriously.
((hugs))
