HDBD question

I know that some ladies expressed a desire to keep HDBD as bumps only and to have a seperate thread for outside babies. I usually start that and kind of assumed based on past experience that bumps and babies were welcome, but realize that I may have stepped on some toes.

What say you F14?? How do you want your HDBD?

As usual car seat is wise.

Its hump day bump day/hump day baby day once people start popping them out. It's nice to see all the babies together in one spot!

As long as you're not posting a "look how much weight I've lost" or "I'm losing weight so quickly I can't wear my maternity clothes anymore" photo along with your baby, I think it's all good.

Yeah, I'm cool with holding off on the 8 million AW Your Baby posts until everyone can participate. HDBD is sufficient.

I like them combined.  Plus, the bumps are dwindling and it's more fun with lots of participants.  We won't want to leave that last F14'er out there showing her bump alone

Its fun to see the transition week to week of babies vs bellies. And its nice to have everyone in one place. I agree no weight checkins or pictures because we don't care. If you AW yourself for being small already prepare to be tar and feathered!!

Agreed, do other boards just continue with HDBD once everyone has had their babies or do they start a new weekly "AW your baby" post? I'm fine with people showing off their babies if they want to if it's in one spot but clogging the board with the stuff you mentioned above sounds wretched.

Whoops I'm guilty.  I totally forgot about HDBD being for babies too!

I agree with PP's. HDBD would be so boring since there's only a few of us left. plus I love seeing everyone's LO's in the same thread! and I'll stab my eyes out if there are 900 AW threads like Rondack said.

I love seeing outside babies in HDBD! Whoever is bitching about it is ridiculous. It's an amazing thing to be able to see what bellies have turned Into babies over the last couple of weeks.

@iwubrory - my other BMB does a weekly post on Wednesdays to show off babies (even now that they're 18-20m old).

Sometimes there's a theme (hats, pjs, sports, etc), sometimes there isn't, and not everyone does the theme, but it's still fun to see the babies grow up.

I like the theme idea and totally wouldn't mind if someone participated in the thread and not the theme.

I posted one a few weeks ago and meant for it to be topped as people had their NB photos done. Things have gotten out of hand...
