T&Ps for my sister

Due to a varicose vein in her umbilical cord, they are inducing her at 38 weeks (they moved her due date up a week at some point, I don't remember when, she would have been 37 weeks). They've been monitoring her closely with weekly scans, I'm sure everything will be fine, but I just worry. I hear varicose veins and I just think blood clot.
