Hello. I am 32 in the DC metro area. DH and I have a daughter that is a year and a half old. I have had baby fever for the past few months and am feeling discouraged because I got my period tonight. We have been actively trying for the past two months. While I know that is not a long time, my daughter was a surprise so I guess I didn't expect it to be very hard to get pregnant again. Here's hoping next month goes better

Being disappointed is normal, but I would caution you to remember that ladies here have been trying for much, much longer. A normal, healthy couple can take up to a year to conceive.

Thanks. I know that it typically takes much longer. Wether it's your fifth or five hundredth attempt it's still disappointing when it doesn't work out. I wish all the ladies on this board the best of luck

Welcome! Sorry af showed.
My daughter was a surprise as well, 8 years ago. Got pregnant in the 1st month. I'm currently on my 3rd cycle and Never in a million years thought I would stress so much over every cramp, twinge, cm, ext. Thankfully I found TB and I think due to ladies on the board its going to be a lot less stressful due to them not sugarcoating anything! I've already learned a ton. Good luck!!:)
