How much EBM does your BF baby take?

I pumped for the first time today. Hoping DH will feed DS3 a bottle as he does need to learn how before I have to go to work!

I got 2 oz. which I thought was pretty good considering I had just nursed. How much expressed BM is your baby taking at a time? I'd rather not pump again today but if I have to I will.

Until about 10w, ds1 took 2oz. After that and until he stopped bottles, he took 3oz. Kellymom suggests an oz for each hr between bottles.

No clue! I'm stuck in a cluster feeding rut right now and don't want to mess with things. 2oz sounds good, go by baby's cues. One thing I have done in the past is weigh baby prior to feed (naked) then weight right after feed(naked) its a pretty good indication of how my much they are taking in. Good luck

Is that for newborns? Cuz my kids once 4months took more them 24 oz .

She takes 2oz of EBM at a feeding. That fills her up pretty nicely. She's three weeks old

It's a general guideline for all ages since BM changes as baby ages. I think we hit one growth spurt where we had to give 4oz bottles, but he soon went back to three oz.
