So I'm 26 weeks and we decided on Colette a couple of months ago. My 2 year old son cutely refers to the baby as "baby Colette" and my husband has finally really started to feel attached to this name. I even ordered a bunch of small personalized stuff. But I have gotten some weird feedback on how people pronounce it. Almost everyone I talk to say they pronounce it like Cuh-lette (like Nicolette, without the Ni- syllable), where as I want to pronounce it Coh-lette or coal-ette. Now I feel drawn to the name Magnolia, with Colette as a middle name. My husband likes Magnolia too, but feels we already found our name. Any opinions on either name?
