I plan on going to the beach and sitting in the sun. I hope! I say that now...LOL.
I had DS this past June so I didn't get out much last summer but this summer we'll be able to take him to the beach anddo a lot of outside activities with him
Oh, and ditto, the staying cool. DS was a lte June baby and I was miserable the last month - not sure how I'll handle this one! LOL.
I'll be transferring this summer so I'll be inside in the AC with a bunch of moving boxes! I wouldn't hit the beach now, not to mention in my third trimester.
I am actually kind of excited for a pg bathing suit! I think it will be kind of neat - at least now I'll have an excuse for not looking like a supermodel in my bathing suit
I also plan to sunbathe a bit - sorry baby, mommy's a sunworshipper!
Luckily DH does heating & air conditioning for a living so he will make damn sure that I stay super cool - at least while I'm at home! And I'm psyched that I'll be able to wear flip flops at work and my boss won't be able to tell me I can't!!!
Hopefully we will be able to make it to the beach before July, but we pretty much live at the lake in the summer time, so I will def. be out, I'm sure it will be really hot and I will be miserable, but still be fun!! Can't wait...I hate winter!! It snowed here last night and the roads and everything was snowy and really slick...so I can't wait for summer!!!!!
i am NOT looking forward to a summer july in florida in my third trimester!!!! it's about a 45 min drive to the beach for us so i doubt we will partake in the sand and sun. i'd rather sit in my air conditioned house and let DH fan me feed me grapes lol
I haven't worn a bathing suit since our honeymoon and don't plan to start any time soon. I hate being in water, so no I won't be going to the beach/pool. I also am afraid of the sun so now way I am sitting out in it. A/C will be my best friend this summer.
i am really not sure what will happen- i dont get to the beach that often anyways even though i live so close- primarily because i work so much and am in grad school- and i am not sure if i will enjoy being hot and sweaty and pregnant- i think i may want to be air conditioned ridden by that time- i will be in 3rd tri and ready to get the baby out by then most likely!
I actually didn't mind being pregnant in the summer with my first. I wore a bathing suit (I found a cute maternity tankini). I loved the fact that I was able to wear comfy summer clothes (tank tops and flip flops) at the end of my pregnancy. I would have hated being so hot and having to bundle up in winter clothes.
Definitely! My MIL has a beach house so we are there all the time. I will buy a maternity tankini - no bump bikini showing off for me, but that's more b/c I've graduated to tankinis anway!
I do not look forward to being hot - I am ALWAYS hot as it is now and this is winter. Oh well, I'll buy a fan for work and definitely work the flip-flops.
I'm excited about being preggo this summer because it will be nice not having to worry about hiding the extra pounds I gained over the winter. We have a beach trip planned the last week of June so I'll be 7 months then. I just ordered a bathing suit from Victoria's Secret 4 sizes bigger than usual with hopes that it will fit then. Okay, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. They were having a great sale and I just loved the suit!!
I'm also looking forward to wearing practically nothing in the summer. I love sun dresses and flip flops and am looking forward to not have to worry about putting/tying shoes!!!
I don't know if planning a trip to the beach will be in our plans this summer, but I plan on sitting out by the pool with my sunscreen on! We have air conditioning at our house and my work so I will be able to stay cool inside.
I have an inground pool in my back yard, and we throw lots of pool parties and I plan on enjoying every second of it, my big butt and a new mat. suit will be out in the sun enjoying as much as possible!
I was diagnosed with skin cancer at 28, so I don't sunbath anymore. (please be careful everyone!!) I will most likely not be in a bathing suit, either! Holy crap, this post just made me realize my last three full months of being pregnant are going to be June, July, and August, the hottest months in Texas. Holy moly.

I'm overweight but I live in Florida and my second home was the pool/beach. So an even bigger belly isn't going to stop me. I just wear loads of sunscreen and also I try not to go out there when the sun is at its worst (noon to 4).
I'm a redhead, so I try and avoid the sun if possible. Living in Canada - we do not have an abundance of beaches per say so I won't have to terrorize anyone with the sight of my pasty white skin and expanded waistline.
If we happen to head to a cottage I may opt for some sort of bathing suit & long sarong ensemble but I have no plans for such at this point.?
I suppose it will depend on the day...but I love sitting in the sun, by the lake and going swimming! I'm sure I'll do my fair share of all that. Even though I'll be as big as a whale.
I live for summer I'm looking so forward to sundresses and the pool. Plus, I have a DS who loves to swim and we'll have to get out of the house every day or we'll go crazy.
I hate bathing suits and don't tan and I'm due 7/4 so I doubt the neighborhood pool will see the lights of me this summer. If I do anything I'll wear a bikini top, bare the bump, and wear a sarong around the bottom to cover my ever growing cellulite.
My MIL lives about 15 minutes away on a lake. We got there every Sunday or more often when it's hot. I will certainly be wearing a swimsuit, but I will not be tubing and waterskiing like usual- wouldn't that be a sight!
"Summer" in Vegas is 110 degress - I'll be staying in the AC, thank you!
From March on, though, I'll be wheedling invites to my friends' pools. I wore a bikini last pregnancy. This time I'm thinking board shorts and a bikini top. I love showing the bump!
I bought all these cute bikinis last summer. Now I won't get to wear them. There's one that I didn't even get to wear at ALL last summer. I am hating that.
yup i'll wear a bathing suit, go to the pool/beach and catch some rays. i did the first time around and it was really relaxing and enjoyable. i didn't even buy a maternity swim suit and wore my bikini. i only went to my mom's pool so nobody was really around and only went to the beach once and wore a swim cover up.

Day Three
I will definitely wear a bathing suit
...I will lay in the sun (with sunscreen) and I will cover when I get too hot.
It is going to be hard, but I think it's important to enjoy my fave time of year!

were a bathing suit? Yes, one that covers the bump.
Go to the pool/beach and sit in the sun? Yes, my parents and ILs have a pool.
I love the summer and since I'm going to have to spend it all PG I'm going to enjoy it as much as I can.
We have a pool and you better believe I'll be donning a bathing suit and sitting out in the sun.
I've already made it through one summer being pregnant, so I'm hoping this one will be just as easy.
