It's traditional to name the first born son after the paternal grandfather, but we are not planning to follow that as DH's family is not that traditional and didn't follow the custom when they named him. DS will only be 1/4 Greek but we are still considering Greek names. DH likes Dimitris after a family member but it makes me think Russian and not Greek. He also likes Alexander but this sounds Russian to me too. I have read over tons of Greek names online but nothing it standing out. Also a lot of the ancient Greek names I like have associations with things I don't care for. Like Dionysus= god of wine, revelry & dance. Morpheus = character from the Matrix, etc. We do not want to use Yiannis, Stavros, Yiorgos or Marios. Any other ideas?

The Greek names I'm familiar with are Demetri, George, Spiro, Daniel, Peter, Nicholas/Nico, and Sam
The more "out there" names I can think of are Aristotle, Adonis, Aeneas, Christos, Helios, Homer, and Cosmo
