MOTN diaper leaks

LO is 6 weeks and we have started just letting her sleep as long as she wants at night rather than waking her to feed and change her. She usually sleeps 6-7 hours without waking. The problem I've noticed is that her diaper tends to leak during that time because she pees a lot and I end up having to change her pj's and clean her bedding. I think it's too long between diaper changes for her, at least using these diapers. Has anyone had a similar issue? Any recommendations for a different diaper that may be better at night (we use Pampers swaddlers)? Or would you just wake her to change her rather than waiting for her to wake up?

We had leak issues with those and switched to huggies, I feel like they fit better. Also at one point the problem was we just needed to go up a size.

This! I have had a lot less leaks since I upped the size of the diapers.

We get anywhere from 6-8 hours from LO (aside from a two day fluke earlier this week), also using Pampers swaddlers, and haven't had any issues. She pees a lot too. Do you have the right size? In the NICU I overheard the nurses telling the parents of another baby that even if the diaper "fits", you may need to go up a size for content it can hold. Maybe try up a size for nights?

She was 11lbs as of last Friday and wearing size 1. I have some size 2 diapers so I will try those tonight and see if it helps. If it doesn't I will experiment with some different diapers.

I love parents choice diapers from walmart I have never had a leak issue unless I forget to tuck his penis.

My LO is almost 12 pounds and when he poops it leaks through the leg hole almost every single time, but I feel like size 2 would be WAY too big...?

This, and my lo sleeps 6-8 hr stretches at night

this is my exact problem with huggies and DD is only 10 lbs so I know its not time for size 2

FWIW, we had way more leg leaking with Huggies than with Pampers Swaddlers which we are using now. Every diaper fits every baby differently, but maybe worth a shot when the box runs out.

I don't even know what brand I'm using now. Just whatever we got from the baby shower.  But I may pick up some Pampers Swaddlers while I'm out today if those aren't what we have now!  Thanks!

We actually use target brand diapers and have no leakage. Size 2 (LO is 12#8oz).. The flaps are juuuust touching, but he was having major blowouts in 1's. No problems since he went into 2's!

We use Pampers Swaddlers and LO is 12# and upped to size 2 already. While the tabs nearly touch, the leaks have been contained. We would have probably switch a week sooner too, but wanted to finish off the opened box of 1s.
