Dumb question alert!! How do I know how far along I am?

Do you calculate from ER or ET or something else?  I think I've been figuring it wrong......
First natural BFP June 2013
Ectopic July 2012 with fallopian tube and ovary removal :(

First IVF (after 1 cancelled cycle) Jan 2014,

    You count from ER. If you google IVF due date you should be able to find a site where you can put your dates in and it will give you a due date. Sorry I don't have the link on my phone anymore!

    April- Femara 2.5mg + Trigger + IUI = BFN   May- Femara 5mg = CX - No Response on Left = BFN

    September- Femara 5mg = CX - No Response on Left = BFN  October- 100mg Clomid + Trigger + TI = BFN

    2 Thawed, 2 Transferred! Beta #1- 96, Beta #2 906! :: EDD June 10th
    2015- 2 failed FET. We are done

    My RE said most OBs will count the start of stims as LMP. That is usually 13-15 days before ER.
    Me: 37 DH: 40 TTC since 9/09
    #1 BFP 1/10/11; missed m/c discovered 7w5d
    IF Dx: Endo, hetero MTHFR mutation, poor morphology
    #1 IUI: 1/18/12 = BFN
    #1 IVF/ICSI 4/2/12 = 2 x 7-cell and 1 x 5-cell transferred (3dt) = BFP!!
    H was born at 41w2d on 12/29/12 - be still my heart!
    #2 IVF/ICSI 1/19/14 = 2 x 8 cells transferred (3dt) = BFP!! EDD 10/09/14
    M&W born at 37 weeks on 9/18/14 - I am the momma of 3 boys!!!

    If you did a fresh transfer you can use this calculator and change the day to reflect 3 or 5 day transfer

    I got differing results on the calculators because I had FET.  I actually did it in Excel lol.  Pregnancy is 280 days.  Day of ER you're considered at day 14 (280-14),  Then depending on how far along your embryo is you subtract that.  So for me, my embryo was a 6 day, so 14+6 made me 20 days pregnant on the day of my FET.  I just took the day of my FET and added 260 days (280-20) and that's how I figured it out - If you put a date in Excel and then do =cell with date + 260 (or however many days of pregnancy you figure out you have left depending on your numbers) it'll give you the EDD :-)  Yes, I'm a math person haha.

    My OB goes off of LMP...which for me, worked out since ER was 14 days after LMP.

    But still the RE & OB differ by a day....  I go with the RE's dating :)

    And it isn't really going to matter much since LO will pick his birthday.

    Count from day of ER, add 2 weeks.  It's actually calculated from cycle start, which is crazy for IVF, so start counting 14 days before ER.  i.e., 2 weeks after ER, you're 4 weeks pregnant.

    I also used the FET calculator online.

    If you were like me, you may have been on birth control and don't have a LMP. My transfer was October 21 and my LMP was August 5. Do the math, they don't add up! Scared my OB nurse to death! Go with the online calculator or what the math girl above said!
