Newborn hearing test?

Anyone else's newborn fail the hospital hearing screening? The tech said she passed the left side but failed the right... They will try it again tomorrow. She said it's pretty common for c/s babies b/c they still have fluid in their ears. But both of my older kids passed no problem so my paranoid mind is in overdrive. Just wondering if anyone else has experience?

Mine failed the left the first time but passed the second time. She said not to worry, it's common for them to not pass the first time for at least one side.
Try not to worry, I'm sure her hearing is fine

Remy failed the right and passed the left. Then he failed the left and passed the right. Third time was a charm and he passed both sides.

I work in a newborn nursery and perform hearing screens all the time. It is indeed very common for babies to fail on one or even both sides the first time it is performed, especially if it is done before 24 hours of age or if the baby was delivered via c/s. I wouldn't worry at this point, chances are she will pass tomorrow,

LO failed the left bc she was wailing and the tech was a moron. Finally I made her stop and we went back the next day and she passed fine. It sounds pretty common!
