So give me some idea's for DS for his birthday present. When I ask DH he is no help. The only thing I can think of is a playhouse like the outdoor plastic kind.
EVERYTHING I know he would love one of those step 2 roller coasters. But it would have to go in the backyard. He love anything he can push/run with. He has those big trucks he pushes everywhere. He likes little people.
Ride on toys are always a win for when the weather gets better. Lots of books, megabloks, & if he's not into it now, he might soon but DS is obsessed with Mr. Potato Head.
NO MORE MEGA BLOCKS lol. He just throws them everywhere lol. We usually do a "big" gift so that is what i'm trying to figure out.
I have having such a hard time remembering what DS got for his second birthday. He got a few puzzles, books... ooo a balance bike. That was the best one.
He also got (randomly that year, not for his bday) one of those cardboard play houses that you can color on, the melissa & doug instrument set, a drum, foam building blocks, and magnetic letters.

I really REALLY want to get him this.... But it's a little pricey.
Totally forgot about that! We got one off Craigslist. Best thing ever!
YES! Definitely scour CL or b/s/t groups for one of these! My aunt and uncle got one for my cousin's kids, and they love it! Judith is a bounce house-aholic, and I would love to get one, but we don't have the space to put it.
My best friend found one on swap shop for her kiddos. we have a big back yard!
I already know for DS's 2nd birthday I want to get him a Learning Tower. I cook a lot so I think it would be awesome to have in the kitchen to get him up at our level to help. But holy crap that Little Tikes bouncy house! I want that for myself!
We have a learning tower, and I do like it, but I wish we had bought one that folds. It's a fairly large piece of furniture that it permanently out.
We have the brand Learning Tower (which has lots of attachments that are fun, but pricey). Guidecraft makes a kitchen helper that stores flat.
If you are old, so I am. So I vote that JackoftheBox is young. That's a much better way to spin this!
Hmm, I thought I was the youngest on this board(24) and I absolutely know what a Big Wheel is! We had a couple when I was younger. My brother and I used to race them
Re: Birthday present
Playhouse sounds like a good gift. We bought one for DS last year and he loves it.
What kind of toys does he like to play with?
We have decided not to buy anymore toys for DS until he's a little older because our basement is overflowing with toys and he rarely plays with them.

DS loves playing with cords, phones, laptops, toaster, blender. In other words everything he shouldn't play with.

My husband also knows what they are. He's 26.
How old are you @JackoftheBox ??
We got him this for his 1st birthday but he STILL pushes it around. And plays with the blocks. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004BWAQ84/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2H8MSS83J2RWQ&coliid=I3P17GW4B0ZAXM
We don't have a yard at all but we bought this bouncer for last winter: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0026GQHVM/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2H8MSS83J2RWQ&coliid=I3PA8VF5D22DL2
Sadly, the cats punctured it.
We also bought ball pit balls to put in his pack-n-play but he didn't care.
