Feeling discouraged...

ART nurse just called with first sono/blood work report.  My estrogen is lower than she would like to see at 81.  My largest follicles are measuring at an 8 and 9.  She asked me to continue with the meds (300 Gonal F, 2 Menopur and 20 Lupron AM and PM) and report back on Friday.  In September I was on an antagonist protocol and my follicles measured a little larger and estrogen was higher at first appt.  Of course she said not to worry (they always say that) but I can't help but not.

Already feeling like this cycle is going to be a flop and I'm only half way to ER.  Ugh...

4ER/3EF/3 "beautiful embryos" transferred - Beta March 7 = BFN :(

    @ifintn Thx - Nurse said I didn't really have anything to "measure" until my 2nd appointment last time (they don't really chart the follicles until they are at least 12).  I guess I'm just disappointed that my numbers were better on the last protocol (and they weren't great last time!).  I was hoping everything would really take off this cycle.  I also know things can change drastically from day to day and I just have to be patient. I have been so calm up until today but I have now officially hopped on the rollercoaster...

    I didn't have any follicles over 10mm and only a few under on my first bw/us - but i'm now at 27 large.  Sometimes it just takes a couple extra days for them to get growing!

    FX for you!!!

    I agree with the pp. hang in there. I know that I was a late developer on stimms.... Then took off... So u shouldn't count yourself out just yet :)

    hang in there, follicles grow an average of 2mm per day!

    Male Factor (severe oligospermia) 
    IVF#1-December 2013: Conversion Protocol @ SIRM, Canceled on day 10 of stims due to poor response
    IVF#2- February 2014:  Estrogen Priming Conversion Protocol @ SIRM (ER 2/22: (9R, 7M, 4F, All arrested, nothing to trasnfer)
    IUI#1-May 28, 2014- 100mg clomid, HCG Trigger, 100mg progesterone oral--BFN
    IUI#2-June 24, 2014- non medicated, HCG 2,500mg x 4 doses (over a week), Endometrium- BFN
    Suprise BFP- September 1, 2014- miscarriage at 5 weeks.

    @kezih23 - I thnk that's what's happening now.  ART nurse called yesterday and said my numbers were where they should have been on Wednesday.  Maybe I was off to a slow start.  We are pretending my first sono appointment was yesterday and not on Wednesday (we are pretending Wednesday never happened :) ).  We have added another day of stims and I report back to the clinic for blood work and sono Monday morning.  A huge thank you to everyone for your positive thoughts. They mean a lot!

    Keep hanging in there! All of the waiting associated with IF is no fun, but I obsess over the follie and estrogen numbers between all monitoring appointments.

    Me (28) - DOR (AFC <10, undetectable AMH, >10 FSH), homozygous E429A MTHFR
    DH (29) - MFI low count and morphology

    September 2013 IUI#1 - Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN
    October 2013 IUI#2 - Letrozole + Menopur + Trigger + IUI = BFN

    Nov 2013 IVF/ICSI #1 - Protocol: BCP prep, high doses Menopur and Bravelle (12 days), ganirelex
    Results: 5 retrieved / mature, 4 fertilized, 1 arrested and 3 complex abnormal after day 3 PGS = Cancelled after ER
    Jan/Feb 2014 IVF/ICSI #2 - Protocol: Estrogen priming, high doses Menopur and Bravelle (11 days), microdose lupron
    Results: Cancelled after 11 days of stims due to low response and E2 levels
    Feb 2014 IVF/ICSI #3 - Protocol: No prep, low dose Menopur (6 days), ganirelex, Bravelle booster with trigger

    February 2016 FET #6 - Natural cycle, transferred 1 from match #4, B FREAKING P!
