Dedication Update

In going back and forth with my DH, we've decided to go ahead with the dedication with my H taking the role of dedicating himself to educate our LO on religion in general, why people practice, the history if it, while I will be dedicating to raise our LO in the church and with Christian principles/values. Now, I am wondering who attends this? Just my husband and I? His god mother too? Our parents? The people who will be assisting us in raising him in the Christian way? The people who will be assisting on educating him in religion, praying with him, guiding him, etc? What did you do? Do you send out some sort of "invite" or "announcement" ( those are not the right words...I just can't think of the correct term.)!

    We invited our immediate families and that was it. We wanted it small and intimate.
