@Monimu13 - Forgive me, but I haven't seen any updates lately. How are you and your LOs doing? Is your cervix hanging in there?
Thanks for thinking of me, I've been bad at update bc of my blurry vision from the magnesium. I've reached 28 weeks, which is a big milestone for me... babies were measuring 2lb 3 oz and 2lb 2 oz last week, so growing nice and big. My cervix was 0.4cm this week (0.5cm last week)... so I'm still hanging in there. I agreed with the MFM team that I would be agreeable to stopping magnesium at 28 weeks, so we did that this morning and switched to indomethacin and procardia by mouth. I'm still contracting 2-5 times per hour, but they aren't painful...so we are gonna be OK with that. If I can make it to 32ish weeks without rupturing, they would be OK with sending me home... So keeping FX for the next month that things kinda stay the same 3rd tri here I come!!!

Hi there, this is my first check-in on the Pregnant after Infertility board. I'm 37, my DH is 35, we were TTC for around two years but went to the RE for the first time in December, 2011. I've had PCOS forever so I knew it'd take some help. Happily, I'm now 17 weeks pregnant with twin girls, the result of our first cycle of IVF (after two BFNs following ovulation induction with IUIs). They're due July 22. Hopefully we go the distance because we have no snow babies. We're feeling very happy to have made it this far, knock on wood that the streak continues!
I have always had strong cravings, even before getting pregnant. One of the downsides of being on birth control pills to control my PCOS was it dampened my cravings. We never used to have to debate where we were going out to dinner, I would just know what I wanted and we'd go. Something I've been into lately, though, has been Cocoa Krispies. Actually, I like the Whole Foods version better because they're like a cross between a Coco Krispie and a Coco Puff. I'm becoming a connoisseur.
@letsgobowlingx Did you do the free mattress deal too? Which one did you pick? I saw some reviews that said the espresso was more like a cherry color but yours looks nice and dark. What glider and side table did you get? They look like they match really well!
@whoberry - sorry it didn't notify me that you tagged me for some reason!
I didn't get the free mattress deal, instead I bought the crib on sale for $120 and the mattress was on sale for like $30 or something I think.
Hope that helps! Sorry again that I didn't see this until now!
@letsgobowlingx Thanks for the info! Our baseboards stick out a bit too so I think this will be a good fit. I ordered the crib with mattress from Wal-Mart, it should arrive next week. I'm pretty excited, this is our first item for the nursery!
