November 2012 Moms

it haooened so quick :(

We had 15+ wonderful moths as a family who lives and works at home... Monday dad starts working in the office 20 miles away .. (hopefully a 7-3 schedule) but man it JUST hit me..... we were sooo lucky for so long .. I really am glad he had this time because I think he KNOWS his daughter... he will be more aware of the changes and growth and appreciative of the time he gets with her...but I am now officially SAD.. BUT I respect and appreciate that this change will hopefully help us get to a better "life" as a family and hopefully by June I can post pics of a new home ... wish us luck

  • I would be really sad if DH had to work in the office more. With his 3rd shift schedule it is hard enough as it is to get time as a family.

Hopefully this will be a positive change for your family.

  • I totally understand.  DH works from home and watches LO two days a week...on the other days he has a flexible schedule and comes and goes often and can get LO early from the babysitter some times.  A few months ago he thought he might have a job offer with a lot of $, and he was in a panic feeling like he was choosing between LO and the new job.  Fortunately the opportunity went away so he didn't have to make the choice.  If and when he ever goes back to a normal 9-5 job it will be a hard adjustment for me!  You have the right attitude- appreciate the time he did have with her (which is so unusual and special)!  He will know her better in the future for it!
