Has anyone gotten LOs ears pierced yet? I was told to wait until after shots... But is it a day after or 3 weeks after?

I'm going to wait til after her shots. I'll probably wait til about 3 months to get them done.

I got my LOs done at 8 weeks. It's a tradition is our family to get them done at that age. My four sisters and I all had them done at 8 weeks as did all 5 of my nieces. We went as a family to have them done. She only cried for a min we gave her a bottle right after and she was fine. I suggest if you do get them take her to a place that has two people and two piercing guns so they can be done at the same time. That's what we did.

My pedi said after 2 month shots but ideally after her 6 month shots

Id love to get my LOs ears pierced but I'm too scared and have mixed feelings about it. Maybe one day though! I would wait but not too long, I would think 6 months might make it difficult because she may try pulling on them and is more mobile

It's also a tradition for my family and his to get ears pierced after shots at 3 months.

I don't have a baby girl, but when I do have one, I plan to get her ears pierced at around 6 mo.

I tried at 8 weeks and was told she had to have her shots first. She's 10 weeks now and we're going next week.

I'm asking my pedi Monday, but I believe it's after her 2 month shots and I'd wait like a week after them.

My pedi said if you're going to do them, either do it when they're an infant or much older. We're probably going next month. Our practice has 3 months as minimum.

I had DD1's ears pierced at 3 months. However, DH and I have decided to wait with LO until she asks for it. DD1 hates her pierced ears and refuses to wear earrings. She told us she wished we had left that choice up to her and we agree.

If you're going to pierce your LOs ears it would probably be best to ask your pedi when the best time would be.

I'm waiting until she is old enough to ask for them. Then we will make a big day out of it. I would be scared to do it as a baby because they can grow uneven.
