Ok, since we have't talked about it:

I hate this show.  Hate it with every fiber of my being.  They take people who have disordered eating (whatever disorder that may be) and push them the opposite direction. 

Like @pobrecita, I'm not shocked.  I'm sad.  I'm sad this girl was down to an almost healthy weight and then dieted herself down to borderline unhealthy for $250K.  She does not look 24.  She looks 40.  She looks sickly.  She looks gaunt.  

The reactions of both Jillian and Bob are very telling to me.

If someone offered me that much money to lose weight, even an unhealthy amount, I would probably do it.

Though, I'd probably fail because my will power to diet and lose weight sucks that bad.

I'm team she looks sickly & 250 K is not much money in the grand scheme of things. I'm so not surprised she is so thin & I imagine she dehydrated herself on purpose prior to weigh in.

Also, I should add I don't even watch this show.

No, but losing 45lbs in 1-2 months doesn't indicate she's willing to stop losing.

Yes.  I saw Jillian say "Oh my God" and it wasn't in a good way.  Her arms didn't look toned, they looked skeletal.  I can't imagine what she's been doing in the last month or so has been even remotely healthy.  I also agree that the show is a horrible idea.  Most of them gain the weight back.

Yup. She went from 260 to 150 in 14 weeks.   

Then she lost an additional 45lbs in 1-2 months, bringing her final weight down to 105.

That is scary.  I haven't seen this show in a long time, but loosing that much weight that fast is not safe.  I hope she's alright.

In our neck of the woods, $250k could go a long way. I'd do it, but then I'd go out and get the biggest, juiciest burger on the way to the bank.

I don't watch the show, but that's a disturbing amount of weight loss for 2 months, especially since 150 isn't very heavy.

Sorry @cinemagoddess I would also do it. People will do lots of things for money and losing weight is one of them. $250K would also buy and furnish a very nice house in my area. It would also allow me to pay off mine and DHs vehicles and student loans. If I had the chance to do it, I would.

@LovelyRitaMeterMaid - that's the problem with folks looking at a certain poundage or dress size being the ideal weight. I used to be 130 lbs in college (5'6, 36C chesticles. I was a stick with boobs and absolutely NO muscle tone). I'd be happy being 150, as long as I had good muscle mass!

I can understand losing weight safely for $250k.  Like, over the course of a year.  

I would do that.

I would not stop drinking water, stop eating, and take 3 spin classes a day to win $250k.

I know it depends on body type, but I'm of the opinion that 105 is, generally, too little on a person that is 5'4. I hope she's healthy.

It seems really irresponsible (and like a serious liability risk) that the producers don't have a medical professional of some sort following these contestants AT LEAST until the finale.  I would think they should be checking in periodically on an ongoing basis as well.

It was 150.  It was the last weight they recorded her as before last night's finale.
