Baby girl name help!

Long time lurker but I think I'm finally ready to ask you ladies for your opinion. I know you will be honest, which is what I'm looking for!

We are expecting our third child, first DD. The four names we are throwing around are: Kate, Brynn, Blair and Darcy. Please give me your thoughts on each (if you don't mind) and any other suggestions that you think are a similar style.

We are having a much more difficult time with this baby than our first two DS!

I love Blair and Kate but Brynn and Darcy are not my style.

Kate is fine. Cute, classic, but it doesn't wow me.

Brynn and Blair I like

Darcy feels meh to me, but maybe I could learn to like it more.

Hard for me to tell what your style is exactly, but I'll suggest: Adele, Norah, Stella, Alice, Violet, Daphne, Gwen, Jane, Eliza, Natalie, Juliet, Amelia.

I love Brynn and Darcy. Other suggestions:

The only one I Iike of those is Kate, but it also seems odd to have it as a stand-alone name.

I think your names are all over the place for style, so I'm not really sure what else to suggest.

I like Brynn a lot. I've seen Kate as a stand alone name and I think it's very sophisticated. Blair is ok, it's not my style but it's a pretty name. Darcy is awful and reminds me of mullets and cigarettes.

Kate is a NN to me, I'm not a fan of it as a standalone. Blair is pretty, I like it. The other two are 100% NMS.

Really like Kate and Brynn, both sweet and simple. I like Kate the best because it sounds more feminine. Darcy is ok. Not a fan of Blair.

Thanks for your feedback! My DS's are named Jake and Ryan.  My DH and I definitely subscribe to the idea that we name our kids what we want them to be called. However, after naming Jake (just Jake, not Jacob) I often feel like I wish he had more of a name, but his name suits him and it is what everyone calls him so it works. 

I guess the same goes with Kate. It is the name we have both loved since our first DS 6 years ago, but now it seems kind of plain.  Blair is my DH's middle name. We both feel like it is a more feminine name (though clearly my MIL doesn't....) and had thought about using it on a girl.

I don't like names that lend themselves to always being a nickname.  I also really don't like Katelyn (or however its spelled) and Katherine is very overdone in our family so we aren't huge fans of that either.

I like Blair for you especially since it's your husbands MN. I would change it up a bit and spell it Blaire. I don't know why I want to put an "e" on the end. It gives me closure. Not a fan of just Kate all by itself. And I agree with you and others that it's overdone. Darcy is okay, I like Daphne better. Brynn is cute and I definitely think it needs two "n"s. I also love the name Briar for a girl. Good luck to you! I'm too scared to post my own girl name list!

I love Kate (I have one of my own). I think it's timeless, classic and grows well with a person.

Blair and Darcy are fine, but evoke the sense of 1980's preppies.

Brynn is also a fine choice IMO, but I don't love it.
