I want to add a stroller to my registry - a general every day stroller that LO can use for the long haul. I won a stokke scoot, but not sure I'm in love with it.
I have a Maclaren umbrella that I love love love. You can't really use it until baby is sitting on their own (so 6-ish months), but my 2 year old still uses it.
We are getting one of these. Probably not this color (and maybe the travel system versions). We Like the carseats that connect in them since they are rated high on safety.
A basic Baby Trend. 3 air filled tires and the front one can be "locked" straight if you want to try jogging with it. (I don't) Fits most infant seats we tried in it. $100. Still use it for my 2 1/2 year old DD.

I second this. The air filled tires make such a smoother ride. And I feel it turns sharper than the 4 wheeled strollers.
Congrats to my GP Sister from another mister Bruinsbabe!!

Just make sure you dont have a lot of thorns where you live or your going to have to fill them up/replace the tires a lot. At least in my state the moms around here have troubles with air tires
We bought ours as part of a travel system, we chose the B-Agile. It collapses and sets up very easily, and is not too heavy. After collapsing, I can lift it up high enough to get into the back of my SUV with my non-dominant arm.
It’s not that I don’t like you, it’s that I don’t know you. Stranger Danger.
I think I'm going to go baby trend jogger! It's not expensive and fills in the gaps the stroller I have leaves. (like gravel roads etc) Plus if I ever want to jog...I can. HAHAHAHA (if you knew me, you'd know that's probably not happening)
I have the Chicco cortina travel system. Stroller is great both as a snap and go for the car seat and then every day stroller when baby gets bigger. It's a smooth ride... Good or for both errands and long walks.
I bought a baby trend jogging stroller with my first. I used it until he decided he would rather walk or ride his bike... Maybe 4 years old? Anyway, I'll be using that same stroller with this one. I bought it for $100 at Target.
We just used the carseat with a snap n go for 9 months, then wet straight to a lightweight stroller. We have the chicco Ecco. The chicco liteway can be used from birth. And the plus version takes a carseat.

I'm a FTM but getting this same system. I've heard good reviews from others as well about the cortina. We're also getting the frame for ease when I don't have my DH along and want just a lightweight quick option
We did a lot of "test driving" and reading and settled on the B-Agile, as several have said above. It's good for us because we're tall plus the money is right and it breaks down easily. It gets endorsed by Lucie's List and has good ratings in Baby Bargains also.
We've decided to get the Cortina system. When we went to test strollers again last weekend, my DH liked this one the best because of the adjustable handles. He felt like he wasn't bumping into anything with his feet and it was tall enough for him. We were given a car seat that had only been used once by a friend who had a preemie and needed to get a different one. However, since it is almost 4 years old and doesn't work with many strollers, we are going to trade that in for the 25% discount at BRU and get the whole Cortina system instead.
Once DD turned 3 months old, we started using our UppaBaby GLuxe umbrella stroller. It was under $200 and is SO easy to use. We love it!! We also have the UppaBaby Vista as our "big" stroller but use it far less frequently.

Yes! We have the car seat caddy too and it was totally worth it! Great for travel and errands.
We first had the Chicco cortina travel system. Although it was okay for a newborn, the stroller was really heavy and didn't like it at all! We used the car seat for about 6-7 months before DS moved into a convertible seat.
We switched to a Britax Blink lightweight stroller and we liked but DS could lean over and touch the wheels while going along.
So we sold it and I got a used City Mini. LOVE it! Wish it had adjustable handles (GT version does) but other than that, it's great. Got it for $100.
We have the City mini but since we are expecting number 2 we also have a Britax B Ready that was $360 on amazon but we got the infant car seat chaperone for free! Love it too!
Are there any wholesale clubs by you. BJs is a wholesale club in my area and they had the Graco Ready2Grow double stroller on sale for 109. Consignment hops are also a good way to go. Especially the ones that are really picky.
