Fitted sheets that don't suck?

I have terrible luck with fitted sheets. All of our fitted sheets are either so tight they are impossible to get on, or they stretch out to the point they are always sliding off in the corners (and those stupid corner holder things suck BTW, and I've used 2 different kinds). I have a few brands of sheets ranging from Wal-Mart to Restoration Hardware and none work well. And it's not just one mattress it's all the beds in the house. Any suggestions?

I have so much other Pottery Barn stuff it's amazing I haven't ever used their sheets. I feel like Rachel in the Friends episode where Phoebe hates Pottery Barn..."I forgot they made sheets!" Lol.

I have the same problem and always just blame DH! Lol he shifts a lot in his sleep... Ill be keeping an eye on this thread

nomorerack.com   I got some sheets here, and they are so soft, and fit well around my mattress... I never deal with it coming off. Plus, they are cheap!

My DH blames me! I swear I don't move excessively. If anything after 3 years of cosleeping I hardly move at all. The sheets are just stealthy!

My mom gifts us sheets for Christmas some years from LLBean. We are always very happy with them and they last a long time.

I really love my fitted sheet from target the threshold brand. I have deep pocket mattress that we always needed the clips to hold the fitted sheet on. The threshold brand seem to cover more completely on the underneath (if this makes sense) and never slips off.

Is your mattress extra thick? Maybe you can't get a snug fit because of that. I'd measure your mattress then look online for a good match.

We have some sheets from kohls that we love. Anything Egyptian cotton 600+ thread count.

It is somewhat thick. I measured it the last time I bought sheets and I bought some that specifically said they were for that depth and those are the super tight ones. One ripped shortly after we bought it because we had to yank so hard. My mom changed my sheets once and she thought I must have bought the wrong size or they were mismarked, but I have 2 of the exact same ones and both are like that. I discovered later that they had really bad reviews. I think they were Wamsutta from BB&B. Anyway, that's why I'm doing this straw poll and I will make sure to measure and check reviews too.

Yes!! & Phobee hates pottery barn so Ross says he got the sheet at a flea market. & after she spills his wine on it she goes, " I'll give you the 32 cents!!"

I've been using a flat sheet and doing hospital corners on all four corners. It works waaaay better and stays put. I use a king size flat on a queen mattress. Not sure it would work if you have a king mattress but you could just try with flat sheets you have.
