My Old Navy is a tease!

My mom and I went out shopping to catch some sales today, and I decided to look at the maternity racks since it was the big 60% off sale. I found really cute jeans, 2 pairs of pants, a dress, and a top. They were all on the racks with the 60% conversion charts to show you the new price. When I got up to the register, I only ended up getting a pair of work pants and the top b/c the cashier and manager said, "Oh, sorry- those other things aren't actually on sale!" IRG!!!Angry

  • Oooh...that grinds my gears!  LOL
  • Thats shitty. You should write a letter to the company saying you will never shop there again..maybe you could get some sweet coupons for the "inconvenience"

  • I was in there today and noticed that too! Doesn't it say really BIG "LAST CHANCE TO SAVE! 60% OFF ALL ITEMS IN STORE" and right under it, really small, "up to 60% off clearance items"? I was irritated.

  • I noticed that Old Navy used the same plan of deception during the Black Friday sales...They had 20 sale racks, and 2 regular priced racks hidden in between them all.  Unfortunately, my choices of clothing were mostly non-sale items, most of which I did not purchase.

  • I often wonder why retail stores don't have their employees check to see if things have been moved to incorrect racks more often. This happens to me a lot, and while I understand that customers are probably the ones moving them around, it's very frustrating.
