What the heck is going on here???

My DD has been eating non stop this afternoon and I have no clue why. She'll be 8 weeks tomorrow. She went through a pretty intense growth spurt around 5/6 weeks and I thought there wouldn't be one for quite a while. Is that correct? To make matters worse I've been sick, I was diagnosed with cellulitis of the breast after running a 103.3 fever on Thursday. I was just feeding her breast milk with bottle until yesterday afternoon after my fever had broken for a while. But I'm still having to pump my right breast to prevent spreading only the bacteria. Not to mention I don't feel great and it's super painful. So I'm now hooked up pumping and feeding this child bc she simply won't be satisfied. She's screams until I feed her again. Any ideas as to what the heck is going in would be greatly appreciated!!!

  • Honestly, it may just be a fluke. My kid had a major meltdown on Tuesday and would not nap until like 4pm. He was up all night the night before, and basically cried all day until I fed him again and again. Then wed, Thurs, Fri he was back to his normal easygoing self. WTF? No idea why, you just have to roll with it. My sympathies are with you today!!

  • I have that app and noticed that it said that. I wasn't completely sure if it was something to rely on, but after seeing it do much on here it looks as if it is. Thanks for the t & p, it's been a rough few days!
