Friday night drinking

TGIF parenting! I'm drinking a cran brrr ita with some extra vodka and watching Downton Abbey while DS plays. After he goes to bed I'm gunna dye my hair.

Also, not drinking tonight bc I have work tomorrow...plus I'm fully expecting a few wake ups tonight with DS. He came down with a nasty stomach bug today and is already sleeping. My poor baby :-(

Mmmmm Chinese take out!

I am hanging out at my mom's since she just had surgery...making sure she takes her meds and has water and such. DH will be here later. He took on an extra job at work and won't be home until after 11. I am on my own for bed time for the first time in months so I probably won't have a drink until after she goes to sleep.

Step dad is bringing home pizza. He had to work today so that is why I am on Mom duty for today.

I hope he feels better! Working Saturdays suck but hopefully you get a good crowd!

I am enjoying the peace and quiet. DH took all of the kids to dinner and a hockey game. I want to watch a scary movie. Any recommendations? I don't want to pay so it has to be free on prime or netflix.

I'm drinking water from a tinyass plastic spoon via plastic 'tea cup' because that's how my kid thinks we should roll at a tea party. Whatever. He's not whining. 

And it's Friday. So it's bourbon and (not diet!) Coke tonight. I'm sure I'll pay for it tomorrow, but IDGAF right now.

Today I had an important meeting with someone I was really trying to impress. I was walking into his office building and he was coming too so we struck up a conversation while walking in together. I was so focused on what he was saying I walked into a door frame. Most embarrassing moment of my life.

Thanks! I am having surgery to remove all the scar tissue from birth and a minor prolapse. It's not going to be fun but hopefully it will fix all the problems I've been having.

ETA AHHHH I'm stuck in your box!

I am hoping to stay up until DH gets here tonight probably between 11 and midnight. He has no faith and thinks I will go to bed way before that.

Honestly after a day of taking care of my mom and having all the evening kiddo duties on me I am going to need some me time to zone out at the TV and drink wine after LO goes to bed.

When I bartended at college... Every time someone said to give them a shot of my choosing, I poured a warm well gin shot. I ain't got time for games.
