I'm thinking about the FitBit too...inspired by @Asbromle 's obsession with it.

What's the difference between the force and the flex?
Oh I see, the display. I have my phone with me all the time so I'm thinking of getting the flex... I like how it's smaller. The force looks kind of large.
I have the force. Love it minus the bulk. Also I noticed today that if you're walking and pushing a stroller so that your arm isn't swaying as you walk the fitbit doesn't count those steps!!! Total disappointment!
@clyde013 I noticed that as well. I couldn't figure out how a trip to the grocery store accounted for only 200 steps!! Now I make sure to push less with both hands.
I have the flex. I like that its smaller and that it syncs with my phone. @clyde013, I noticed that too when I took the dog for a walk. I keep her leash in my left hand. I'll have to switch my band to my righ next time because I got 3 active minutes for a 30 minute walk!
It's very flipping annoying @altvol@fabk we went for an evening walk and I pushed our baby for a lot of the walk. Once I realized it I started just pushing her with one arm. It would make more sense to make a fitbit for your ankle than your wrist IMO!
@mainerocks I am guessing this isn't an issue with fitbit one since its a clip? I wonder if I should get the clip..?
@asbromle try it. I have the force also. When I walk I can watch it count my steps. When I do the same while pushing the stroller it doesn't count those steps. Give it a test. Hopefully I'm wrong
I have the Fitbit "One" and really like it. I clip it to my bra strap during the day and then wear it in the wrist band overnight for sleep monitoring.
I like the sleep log. Right now I am actively working to get to 10 000 steps a day. Once I am able to walk daily it will be easier...I hope. I miss the days years ago when I walked 15000- 20000 daily just at work!
@Clyde013 you were definitely right. I've been taking way more steps a day, doesn't count with the stroller unless you push with one arm. I took it up and attached it to my pants and I'm already half way to 5,000 and it's only 9:30.
I looked at the fitbit community site today. The general concensus is to wear it on your waist (maybe a belt loop?) Or your ankle if you are going to need your hands for pushing a stroller/shopping cart.
I attached it to my belt loop and it counted my steps while I was using the stroller. I think it was counting correctly too. I read it last night like @fabk.
