I had to know what happened. So I did another 30 minutes. 

The twins were happy and healthy, btw.

We don't have cable so I'm missing out on all the quality programming on TLC.  Some of it is on Netflix but now I have to purposefully search for the trash tv instead of just stumbling upon it while flipping channels.

I did recently get hooked on Sister Wives on Netflix and I've been bingeing on episodes.  I can't stop watching.

So I don't get to see it or Bravo very often. 

Now you've got me thinking.  I wonder if a gym membership is more than cable?  Because that could be motivation to go to the gym if one could only watch cable shows there.  Hmmmmm.....

And they just took it away and threw it out! It would be bad enough to refuse to let them get a lunch if they hadn't paid, but this is just a whole new level of effed up. An apology just doesn't cut it.

Forget skittles, get you some Broncos M&Ms, po' folks! Way cheaper! And TP to the Salt Lake school that took kids' lunches away. That is all kinds of fucked up--don't punish the kids and publicly humiliate them. WTF.

So much cruelty. How could you in good conscience allow a little child go hungry, let alone make them hungry?! Shame, shame. One in five kids in our country go hungry regularly. Many of these kids rely on school to get all or most of their meals. Sad.

That's one thing about our school district. No child goes hungry. Ever. They may have to eat sunbutter sandwiches, but they get lunch regardless.

I totally agree. The cruelty of taking the food away and throwing it out is just awful. Not only does it slap the faces of these kids, but disrespects the people who prepared and raised it,
There was a time when feeding kids was a no brainer political consensus issue and obvious moral good. I think your grandpa would have been pretty torn up about this, right?

Gramps is probably turning in his grave over this. He worked his butt off to make sure kids in this country and around the world got fed at school. The adults in this situation should be ashamed.
