Just Curious...

Do any of you have LOs that are semi-mobile.  LO will be 4 months old on Feb. 6 and he has been trying to "creep" forward a lot lately.  He usually get a little bit forward when doing tummy time but today he pulled himself all the way off the mat and half way across our living room floor.  It was awesome, but I'm a little bit of a sad panda because I feel like it is way too soon for this.  I think I will have an early crawler on my hands and will never stop chasing him down!

  • Yes totally. Dd is 4 months and she scoots. She can't stand to be on her tummy. She wants to stand or sit up at all times. She needs to see the world around her. Not loving this phase.

My LO is 14 weeks and is the same way! It scares me.

  • LO hasn't rolled yet but demands to be "walked" often. We hold her and she basically does the walking movement across the room one step at a time. I know it's months before she can actually stand, but this still blows my mind. To fast!

LO is 15 weeks and this is how she is too!

  • She scoots around on her back. I left the room for a minute the other day and when I came back she had scooted halfway across the room and was facing the other direction. She wants to sit and stand all the time. She flips if she's stuck somewhere for a long time.

  • Mine hates tummy time but scoots all over on his back. Still only rolling onto his side though..,
  • Nope, she loves tummy time but no scooting, not rolling back to tummy yet either.

  • DD pulled herself over the boppy a few times, but that's it.  Not sure she will be an early crawler.  She isn't rolling over at all either.

  • Cooper hates tummy time and threatens to smother himself if not picked up. He likes to sit up in my lap but doesn't want to stand or do anything else. Lazy baby big time.
  • Connor detests tummy time, but he scoots all over on his back and loves to stand.  I'm pretty sure he is going to refuse to crawl and just hang out on his back until he walks. No rolling over and doesn't seem to have any desire to try. Giant lazy baby.

  • I'm pretty sure my kid is going to skip crawling and go straight to running. My mom says I skipped crawling and was walking at 7 months.

Plus A hates tummy time, and rolling over is apparently the devil.

  • Neither I nor my husband ever crawled, and our son only puts up with small amounts of tummy time.  However, when he is decidedly over it, he Grinch-slithers off the mat like a champ.

  • Lo moves like an inch worm. And tummy time only happens while I hold him because he just rolls over or inches off the mat. Lol

I literally laughed out loud at that mental image.

  • LO is semi rolling more to side than anything and inch worms the floor but won't do push-ups or lift. She hates tummy time and usually sticks her thumb in her mouth and goes to sleep.

  • Yep...my LO is 18 weeks and is creepin all over. He growls when he does it as well...nutbag. My two DDs starting walking when they were 9 mos. so I'm not too surprised. I think my kids just want to get away from me asap.
  • DS hates tummy time with a passion. Don't see any mobility in the near future.
