Since I am apparently a little behind what the nurse originally thought, they had to do a transvaginal which I was hoping to avoid, but it wasn't that bad. The only big downer was that since it was done by an imaging company and not an obgyn, their frequency was too high to hear the heartbeat

we could see it, though, and everything looks perfect!

How far along are you? We went in and measured 6 weeks. We got to see the heartbeat but couldn't hear it yet. I was at an ob. They are having us come back next week to try to get a measurable heart beat.

I am apparently 7w1d, but Sprout was measuring a week bigger at 8w2d. She said they couldn't audibly hear it because their machines use different frequencies than the OBs use. She got the heart rate, though and we could see it.
