DH slept on the couch because he thought he would wake me up again if he came to bed. What he didn't realize is that every time he doesn't come to bed I have nightmares, and I wake up 6 a night anyway.
I am debating on getting up and putting away the baby clothes I just washed.
Yep, I wake up at 4 am every single day. Drives me crazy! When I'm not pregnant I am supposed to wake up at 4:45 to make swim practice and it's so hard.
I always wake up either at 1 am, 3 am it both. This morning was 3 am because I was hot...then I realized I didn't set an alarm, then I had to pee...now I am hungry.
I wake up once every couple of hours too. Last night I woke up thinking it was around 6. It was 12:30 and I was seriously bummed out. I used to love bed time and sleeping
I almost never get a night now where I sleep until the alarm goes off. I wake up between 1 and 3 no matter what, and then I'm up for 2-3 hours. I'm hot, and I'm coughing because my throat is dry. Then my nose gets too plugged up for me to sleep and I have to drink a lot of water and stretch before I can get confortable. But then in have to pee, and I'm hungry. This morning my alarm went off at 5:20 because I need to be in the office early, and I'm ready to murder anyone who annoys me today.
I feel your pain , normally I'm just up 3-4 times a night to pee . But last night I was in so much pain I couldn't sleep there for had to get on the couch . I'm Lucky IF I got a solid 2 hours sleep last night , then I was up at 5:15 to go to work ! It's going to be a looooong day !!

I think I could deal with the insomnia if my body didn't decide it was time to finally fall asleep 30 minutes before I have to get up every morning. Then when the alarm goes off I wake up beyond exhausted

Ugh, this I usually can fall asleep somewhere between 11 and midnight for around an hour to an hour and a half then I'm awake anywhere from 1 to 3 or 2 to 4 and my alarm goes off at 5:20. I usually fall asleep at 4 something only to be woken back up at 5 for the day :-/

This is me, if our heat goes all night it dries me out and makes me so uncomfortable. I get ANGRY. SO I rip out of bed and turn it off, which then makes the house like 50 degrees in a matter of hours. But once up, I have to pee, get water, stretch, dogs wake up, DH wakes up, etc. And then I fall asleep at 9pm every night because im so tired!
My insomnia was horrible until I hit 36 weeks and then the first trimester fatigue came back and all I can do is sleep. I'm 37 weeks tomorrow and I'm so sleepy. So maybe it will switch up for you too. However I'd really rather have the insomnia.
The sleepless, restless nights won't end after baby makes his/her entrance! Of course, you all know this, I'm just repeating what everyone and their mother feel is necessary to tell me every time I say something about being tired and sleepy. Gee, thanks for the enlightening information that I wasn't aware of!!
Yes. After you give birth, you'll get PLENTY of sleep again. That's right.
Thank you so much, I really needed something to look forward to; maybe if the insomnia gets too frustrating I'll drink this here bottle of castor oil. 35 weeks rounds up to 40, right?
Give me pregnancy insomnia any day over a baby that doesn't sleep!!!! DS woke up every hour on the hour until about ten months when we went to a sleep specialist. Sometimes he was just awake half the night. Then we got 1 1/2 for a while. OMG it's bringing back some memories. That's not gunna happen this time!!!!!
I have the hardest time going back to sleep after 3, and am up until at least 5, at which point I am exhausted! This is when I am thankful to work nights, at least I can make some money off of the insomnia.
Re: 6 more weeks of this insomnia !

I just want to sleep!!!
