Apparently the petition has garnered enough signatures that it has to go before the president now. Yep, people who complain that nothing is getting done and yet fill out this kind of thing, you succeeded in putting a petition about a celebrity in front of the president. I would much rather the government work on... oh I don't know... povery, the farm bill, jobs, etc. Ugh, this gets me all annoyed.

And really it's what we have INS for, so why does the executive branch have to take it up. I hope it's like when the petition to build a death star got enough signatures, that was hilarious. And everyone, celebrity or not, needs to be held to the same standards as normal people. I think that's what upsets me most is that as a celebrity he'll find a way out of jail time. It's what has upset me about Lindsay Lohan and any other number of celebrities, they get treated like special just because they have the money and fan base to support it.

Re: Ummm yeah.....
TheBoy is actually a fan of this. (Not that he would sign a stupid petition.)
And I have to admit.. it does highlight how screwed up our policies are. "Have enough money and we'll gladly let you stay!"

I saw this and laughed, alrighty we will take Bieder, Seth Rogen, Michael J Fox,Ryan Gosling, Ryan Reynolds, and Rachael McAdams back.
BUT, PLEASE, PLEASE keep Celine Dion (this is me begging)! We don't want her, she can stay in Vegas.
