CDBC--I Suck

edited January 2014 in Cloth Diapering
Sorry guys.  I am apparently a terrible terrible leader.  1st, after I posted which book won, I forgot to ever go download it.  the next day when I remembered I got on my computer and bought it for my Kindle, but when I went to look at it, I had lost my Kindle and couldn't find it for two days.  Once I finally found it under the heaping mess of papers on my counter I realized the battery was dead.  Boo.  I'm awful.  Bring back @Stoneycakes!

Anyway, I finally sat down to look through the book.  It's 39 Chapters which are divided into 5 Parts.  I have an old school Kindle where it doesn't tell you the corresponding page numbers to the actual book, so bear with me.  According to Amazon the book is 512 pages long.  If we stop at the end of Part 1, that's 9% of the way through the book or about 50ish pages.  Since everyone is still tracking down the book, why don't we make that our first goal to have Part 1 (Preface and Chapt. 1-5) read by next Thursday?  Then depending on how the book reads we can adjust the goals accordingly?  Does that sound good?

Sorry again for being a sucktastic leader.  Here's your wine

And for you pregnant ladies or those of you who think wine at 8:30 AM on a Saturday is a little much, here's your coffee:

  • I missed the initial post too but this looks like it could be good bedtime reading for DS (he likes to fall asleep to the sound of my voice -- we've been reading The Story of Britain: from the Romans to the Present). Don't know if I can get all that reading done by Thursday, but we'll try!

    No paperback format :(
If you like reading paperback or were looking at the library ignore me, but you can read Kindle on the computer and a lot of devices have a free Kindle app if you are mobile.  Same with Nook I think.

I'm going to try to join you this time! I should really read more and watch less tv.
  • Me too. Mh threw a bitch fit about me being on the phone this weekend so I didn't get any reading (or bumping) done.
