S/O Teeth: Need brushing help

How are you all brushing your LO's teeth? DD absolutely refuses to let me get a toothbrush in her mouth. The only thing that sort of works is letting her brush her own teeth, but she really just sucks on the toothbrush or throws it on the floor. She has 12 teeth so I really need to get this figured out! TIA ladies!

It's a total struggle for us too. I let her brush her teeth and I try to get a few good passes in. I bought some tooth wipes so I'm hoping those will help.

Try brushing your teeth and let her watch and hopefully she lets you in; may take a few tries. If she doesn't, lay her down with her head in your lap and brush. She may fight you but it is better to brush than her needing to get cavities treated. Also make sure you are using a small brush; easier to work in. Good luck.

DS loves to chew on the finger brush, which makes the actual brushing difficult. We just keep at it. Of course he still only has two teeth at this point, but I am making it a habit to brush everywhere so he's used to it.

We use the banana toothbrush too and do the samething. DS LOVES it!
