Good Quality Baby Crib..Where to purchase??

Just wondering if anyone has purchased a good quality baby bed that they would suggest...I seen a few I liked on Jcpenny's website but wasn't sure about the quality since you can't see them in person. I am thinking about doing the convertible kind but would like some places they would suggest buying them at?? Thank you!!

Re: Good Quality Baby Crib..Where to purchase??

  • All cribs have to meet the same safety standards and after that its just bells and whistles. I ordered and returned maybe 5 cribs. If you like it take it home or order it and you can always return it if you don't put it together. Although I made my H crazy with my indecisiveness, returning the crib isn't a big deal. I hated walmart and target furniture, both came broken and finally bought my crib from BRU and had no problems with quality.
  • We got ours at Bru. Lasted great through three kids! :)

  • We got a $150 Graco Lauren with DD and had no problems, we'll be reusing it this time around. We didn't use the toddler bed feature of it because she would never stay in it at night so we went straight to a twin size bed.

  • We have the Graco Sarah crib and it's great, I totally recommend graco cribs! They are not expensive but are very sturdy and seem more expensive than they are.

  • I agree to the Ikea cribs. We also have one and love it.

There are a lot of good cribs on Amazon that are inexpensive. The reviews will tell you everything you need to know.

    Good luck!

  • We went with the Graco Lauren.  It was cheapest at Target and with 5% off with my card and free shipping I couldn't beat it.  I think it has a toddler conversion kit available, but we will just transition to a regular bed.

  • Amazon; especially with Prime shipping. We're very pleased with the DaVinci Emily crib we got and it has held up very well with DS1.
