How early can you fill your baby?

I went to the doc. And was told I was 10 weeks but I sware I can fill my baby flutter. I don't rember how far I was with my daughter when I first felt her. How far along do you start to fill your baby move?

  • It's gas or phantom kicks, but definitely not the baby. At 10 weeks the baby is too small for you to feel movement.

  • I have read that it's only possible around 18 weeks. They just aren't big enough before until that point to feel anything. I didn't feel DS until 22 weeks.

  • You are feeling Gas.

The earliest I felt movement was 14-16 weeks and it was not my first pregnancy. My first pregnancy (that was viable) I felt movement around 20 weeks.

  • This is my first pregnancy and I felt him move at 18 weeks.
  • Dude seriously. This is at least the second time you've asked this question. You are not feeling baby, I "swear". I just started feeling this baby this week and it's not very often. At 10 weeks, your baby is still small and doesn't have hard bones yet. You're not "feel"ing it yet.

  • OP, how many times are you going to start this thread? The answer will not change. You are Not FEELING your baby yet. I'm almost 22 weeks and Just started feeling LO move around. You have gas, deal with it.
  • Wow, some people just can't forgive autocorrect huh? Listen, every woman is different. While it is quite early to feel the baby move at ten weeks, try these things to help narrow it down: lie flat on your stomach or back, have a full stomach to rule out hunger rumblings, breathe consistently, and finally try and recognize the movement in your belly area. Some will be recurring and will not be the baby. Some will happen once or twice but be something you recognize as plain gas. Also, remember where your uterus is right now, it ends way before your belly button this week. If you feel the movement near (a couple inches below and up) or above your belly button, it probably isn't the baby. Take heart though, it will happen soon enough. Thinner women can supposedly feel it earlier. At 15 weeks I have determined I can feel my first baby. When resting quietly I can feel a single (sometimes two quick consecutive) tiny "pop" that is unlike anything I have felt before (my gas bubbles are usually large, plentiful, and do not pop). They are small (no bigger than an eraser head, if that) and very light. It happens rarely but has been happening every day. I recently used a Doppler to determine my baby's position, and the "pops" have been happening in the exact place we found the heartbeat, in the proper placement uterus-wise. Good luck and happy pregnancy!

Uh, yeah, no…… multiple times of using the incorrect word across multiple posts is not an autocorrect issue, it is a lack of education issue. Fill =/= Feel
