Ok ... this is such a silly question. DD is in 18 months. Some of her stuff is getting a little tight. They still fit, but I think I should get a few more outfits in a bigger size to get her through the winter/early spring. I'm just torn on if I should go with 24 months or 2T. My mom claims up and down that the only differant between the two is that 2Ts have smaller butts because by the time kids are in 2T they aren't in diapers anymore. But I think she's wrong. We're not even close to starting potty training! I usually shop at Carter's, and I cheked thier size chart, and there is definatly a differance between the two. Although it is a very small differance.
I'll have to try to measure and weigh her in the next few days to see which she is closer to. However for a while I've felt like Carter's were cut on the smaller side.
Carter's also has 25% Clearence through Monday. So if I find any stuff that might be more appropriate for spring (short sleved stuff), I might get a few things for when the weather turns.
Wondering if I can skip 24 M?
Just curious if anyone else has had this internal debate between 24M and 2T? Or maybe I'm just crazy!?!?!

Got pregnant on our own without Fertility Treatments - January 2016! Thank you snow storm Jonas!
EDD 10/15/16
At 20-week anatomy scan found IUGR (Intrauterine Growth Restriction), and very low Amniotic Fluid. Now, I'm High Risk and have weekly ultrasounds to monitor fluid and growth. If baby runs out of room or is too growth restricted, they will deliver ASAP. My current goal is to make it to 28 weeks!
Re: Clothes: 24M -vs- 2T ???
Once I know the brand I can shop kind of accordingly. Or I just buy big and roll and cuff. haha
My DS is in 18 months, but sometimes can fit in 12 or even 9 month, and can wear 24 month size but 2T is huge on him.
Thanks ladies! I think I'm on the same page. DD had a few outfits she got for x-mas that are 24 months. I intentionally didn't get her alot of clothes for x-mas because I wanted to see if family would get her clothes.
I like how the shirts fit on her. They are big, but I like her to have room to grow. However the 24 M pants, I have mixed feelings about. Leggins are big but doable. But a pair of cords are too big in the waist. I'm able to roll them up. But does anyone have tricks for big waist bands?

DS still fits in some of his 9M pants, so don't need to worry about it for him for awhile.
