Just a quick question. When can I stop sterilizing LO's bottles? I've heard when they start to crawl because there isn't much point anymore. Yes? No? Thoughts?
I never did. Well I did at first then the hospital told me there was no need. Hot soapy water does the trick. I haven't done it since E was about a month old.
I stopped handwashing and sterilizing around 4 months, when she started eating oatmeal and putting everything in her mouth. Now they just go in the dishwasher.
I sterilized prior to the initial use (meaning: boiling water). Nothing but a regular wash since then.
This exactly. I've heard that sterilizing isn't really necessary anymore, since tap water is much better than it was "back in the day." (I don't remember the specifics).
A has joined the no-bottle club. I randomly sterilize the bottles whenever I look over and see the Medela steam bag in hopes that she will take one again.
