Reglan anyone?

Was given a script of reglan to boost my production and have been having a massive headache all day. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Re: Reglan anyone?

  • I'm on reglan too but haven't experienced this. Sorry to hear you are having a rough go of it!

  • Curios if it has helped any ones supply? I've yet to fill my perscription..
  • I'm also curious if it's worked for anyone out there. I'm doing all the non pharmaceutical things to boost supply but I think I need something more.

  • Curious here too. I'm starting mine today and am so hoping it is a miracle drug!
  • I'm on it right now. I have not gotten a headache and I have not noticed a big difference in supply.  :(

I should add that I was on it for almost my entire pregnancy (7 weeks onward for hyperemesis) so maybe it did mean I was able to produce some milk whereas without it I'd be totally dry but it's hard to know.

  • I have noticed an increase although it's still not enough to exclusively breast feed. I have been on it for almost 3 weeks now. I had a breast reduction a few years back so I had some duct damage and had to have help with supply.

I had a reduction as well. I'm not expecting to get enough to only BF, but am hoping for more than the 10ml I get per pump. How much were you getting before vs now?
  • I was getting roughly an ounce total per pumping session (roughly 20-25 minutes then).  Now I get around roughly 2 ounces per 10-12 minute pumping session.  Also, I am not pumping at night (because the medicine maintains my supply without pumping), so when I pump in the morning, sometimes I get 4-5 ounces total (in a 12-15 minute pumping session).

    I forgot to quote...
