Skip the
late-night snacks. Don’t consume anything -- we’re talking about food and drink
-- less than two hours before bedtime. “There’s the likelihood that it will
cause reflux or heartburn,” says Dr. Sam Sugar, MD, director of Sleep Health
Programs at the Pritikin Longevity Center + Spa. And that would keep you wide
awake and uncomfortable.
Nope. I don't follow that 'rule'. Actually, rumor has it certain foods (i.e. bananas, cereal, that sort of thing) may actually help with the sleep thing. I will usually have a bowl of oatmeal or a bowl of granola before bed.

I try not to, but sometimes dinner is just not enough and I want to make sure I'm getting enough because I'm breastfeeding. I try to make it small and healthy though! Carrots with ranch or a granola bar.

I find that if I eat particularly spicy food before bed, I have bad dreams, but so far I'm not really suffering from any heartburn or indigestion either. Luckily baby likes my potato chips and ranch dip as much as I do!
I don't eat late at night. Dinner is usually around 6. I do drink a ton of water though. I always drink water right before bed. I need it though because I am breast feeding. I eat so dehydrated in the evenings and the middle of the night.
I do snack in the evenings. But I tried to be finished by an hour before I go to bed. Often my husband comes home starving so we eat dinner early and then I'm hungry again!
usually i do, but being 21 weeks pregnant,, i like to get something in my gut around 9pm,,,otherwise i just try to eat fruit or dried fruit and nuts so it does NOT weigh me down,,especially mentally!
