Hello everyone!
So last week my baby was diagnosed with Gastroschisis, where there is a hole in the stomach wall of our baby and the intestines are sticking out. I am 23 weeks today. I have been freaked out ever since we figured out this diagnosis and have done reading and heard things from people. I guess I was just coming up here to hear some happy stories of gastroschisis babies and how they were after surgeries and out of the NICU.
I have a 14 month old daughter and my pregnancy with here was completely normal and easy breezy. Complete opposite this time.
Also, just to see if anyone here has done this, how was breastfeeding your baby afterwards like? Easy or hard? I breastfed my daughter until 1 year old and it came so natural and easy.
TIA!
