Listeria test?

Is this something you can request from your doctor or how does it work? I am admittedly paranoid in general about all things pregnancy but this scares me the most, especially since it can show no symptoms. I've had some diarrhea for the last few days and while I know there are a million other reasons this could be happening, the listeria scare is always in the back of my mind. Is it something they would test for or will they just think I'm being crazy? (as I'm sure some of you will as well).

I try to avoid things that are a risk as much as possible but I have had raw vegetables from restaurants that I'm hoping are washing them, I know they are supposed to. No lunch meat or soft cheeses or anything like that. I feel like you can be as careful as can be and still run into problems. I'm 21 weeks tomorrow.
