Need advice, would you wake and feed?

LO made some noises that came through on the monitor and woke me up. I'm watching him on it now and he's sleeping and doing his "I'm dreaming of milk" mouth moving thing. Usually he'd wake up around now and want food - he's dream hungry, should I wake him with a bottle?

Re: Need advice, would you wake and feed?

  • I'm guessing the answer is "Hell no, let him sleep" and he won't be traumatized for being hungry/sleepy. Pardon my 3am brain, it barely functions enough for me to get up to pump.

  • Aaaaand he's up on his own. The power of dream milk is weak, WEAK I TELL YOU.
  • Lol...I guess I'm not the only one who watches my LO sleeping wondering what they are thinking about!! When he smiles in his sleep I really do wonder, cause what life experience could he have that he's replaying or dreaming about in his 7 weeks alive...
  • Let them sleep!

  • Thanks! He doesn't always eat before he conks out for the night so I get concerned about his hunger.

And pp, they're so much fun to watch on the monitor. Mine was kicking his butt up in the air , which I do when I play with him but I haven't seen him do on his own. Maybe he needs crib alone time more often!
  • I think if he is really hungry he will wake and let you know. Sleep until then :)
