My little girl will be 2 months on the 16 and I just had to pack away her 0-3 and 3 month clothes. She's so big! Is anyone else baby wearing 3-6 months already?
DS is wearing 3-6 mos already. He has so many cute clothes he never got to wear. He was 9 lb 6 oz at birth so he never fit NB. I didn't even bother keeping any of his NB clothes. They hold no sentimental value since they weren't worn, and IF we have another I assume they'll be a big baby also.
Funny, I was just thinking about this. I got all sad when I found some little nb diapers. He is 7 weeks and sadly in 3-6 mo clothes and his feet are too big for the footies. My DH says we should cut holes for his toes to hang out! Lol! Poor kid, my feet are size 12 and DH is 16 so he's screwed. But it is so sad how quick life moves along. Slow down!!
My LO was in 3-6 before six weeks. Some of them she has already grown out of! She was born 9lbs 12 oz and 21 inches long though, so NB never happened and 0-3 went by way to quickly. She probably wore 1/10th of the outfits I have for 0-3. She's also in size 2 diapers. According to the bathroom scale, she's over 13 lbs already. I feel like I blinked and missed the little baby stage
We don't see the doc until Fri, so I don't know how much she weighs, but my peanut is just now into 3 mo. (7lbs 2oz at birth, will be 9 weeks on Wed).
This will prob be us! She is 7 weeks, 8 on Tuesday, and is still in her newborn clothes and diapers. I'm sure moving up will be bittersweet. I am getting tired of her NB outfits... We didn't have too many because you never know if they will even wear them and for how long so we gave been going through the rotation of the same ones for a while now. If I would have know she was gonna be so little in would have invested in more
Don't tell me that! LO was 10 lbs at his 4 week checkup and he's almost 7 weeks now. He's in 0-3 and my mom bought him a hideous Easter outfit in size 12 mos that I'm determined will NOT fit him in April!
Aw, I felt similar as I was putting DD's NB clothes away for good. I was thinking "oh, these are so small. I cant believe my girl was this little." We just started 0-3, so will be in those for a while. I dont think it will be as big a deal to me when she outgrows those. The NB stuff just pulled on me bc its the clothes she wore in her very first weeks of life.
Yes, I may have had a moment of silence after I put her NB clothes away. I did about about 2 weeks ago. Is is two months and some change now, but she is getting so long! Her 3mo clothes are getting tight around the tootsies.
Also, what is everyone doing with baby's old clothes? Donating? Or saving the for another baby?
I only plan on saving a few items that I really love, the rest I plan on donating. Its just the act of physically driving to the good will and dropping the items off I dread the most. I feel like if I keep her a couple of her NB items tucked in the back of the drawer, in some way she is still my teeny tiny baby. Clearly I'm in denial.
Just put away NB and some 0-3mo because LO is sooo long! He was 21in at birth. DH and I both got on the scale with him to see what he weighs and both of us got 12lbs. On Tues I can go to this BF group at the hospital to weigh him before the 2mo well baby check-up. Can't believe how fast my baby is growing!!!!
Lol dd had her 2 month check up last week, she's 11.1 lbs and 21 inches. She was 8.12 lbs and 21 inches at birth. The doctor said her growth is a little slow, but its to be expected due to genetics, as she looked at DH and I. We're both on the small side. DH apologized for us being a bit small. Dd has been in 0-3 for about a month and at the rate she's going she will be for a few more weeks. I may or may not have shed a tear when I put her newborn stuff away.

Bc he is getting too long for it. I'm sad but excited to watch him grow.
