Ways to relieve muscle pain? (Fell on the ice)

Hey guys!

Yesterday I was taking DD to the library and I slipped on the ice, pulling her stroller down with me. She's okay, so is baby, but I landed hard on my shoulder and I can barely move it. If I lay down the pressure is brutal.

I have a hot pack on it now and plan on taking a hot shower while DD is napping, but what else can I do to get some relief? I've taken some Tylenol, but it doesnt seem to have helped.

The only other thing I can think of is Icy Hot (or similar product).  Hope you start feeling better soon!  Sounds painful.
Oh!! I didn't think of that! I think I have some upstairs too. I'll give that a try when DH gets home.

  • Loading the player...
  • Maybe trying soaking in an Epsom salt bath. And get Tiger Balm (I get mine at Walgreens), it's what my physical therapist recommended after my knee surgery to help with the pain.
  • I massively pulled a back muscle last month: Tylenol and Icy Hot was my doc's advice. It helped, but took awhile, unfortunately. Feel better soon!
