98th percentile

So my doc yesterday said that baby is in the 98th precentile for weight according to the 20 week ultrasound. Is this bad? I'm pretty nervous because she said it
Could mean I have gd or that I would have to schedule a c section. Anyone else in the same boat?

I don't know the measurements of this baby yet, but for DS#1 he measured right on track the whole pregnancy and then suddenly, at the end, measured 2-3 weeks ahead and I had to have a csection.  He came out 10.5 pounds and 24 inches long.  My point is, I wouldn't worry!  Baby's measurements change a ton from week to week.  Yours may have just gone through a growth spurt.  Oh, and I didn't have GD with my last pregnancy... he was just big.
