Daily Headaches?

Anyone else getting headaches daily?

I am drinking tons of water and using essential oils but still get one or two stress headaches at the base of my head/neck on a daily basis...any suggestions? So sick of popping Tylenol.

Could it be something else like high blood pressure causing headaches?

im 13 weeks and in the same boat....I REALLY don't want to use any medicine so im trying to avoid it , but some days...EEEK ouch. ive been going to the chiropractor and he suggested COLD packs first at the base of the neck for me and heating pads for along the shoulders for muscle relief. I also take baths with burts bee lemon oil bath stuff....YUMMY:) so calming.

    good luck :)

This is what worked for me too, though my headaches tended to be more across my forehead. I found a gel eyemask that you can freeze or refrigerate and that has worked wonders. It has adjustable velco straps so you could easy just put it on your neck if that's where it was needed. When that, water, and a hit of caffeine failed, Tylenol took some of the edge off too.

Have you mentioned this to your OB? They could be nothing, just hormones etc, or it could be something that needs medical attention. Not trying to scare you or anything like that but if it's been going on for awhile it may be something you want to bring up. If there is no medical reason for it (i.e. hypertension, preeclampsia, etc.) then I would definitely look into seeing a chiro or maybe acupuncture. Personally I have been having horrible headaches for the past few days, like I had to spend most of the day in bed because I get so nauseated and dizzy from them when I get up. I have an appt on Monday so I didn't see the point in going in when I would just be going in a few days later. I will definitely be bringing it up.

Have you stopped drinking coffee or pop/ soda? There are days I don't have caffeine and I find I get headaches throughout the day. Although some women are more prone to headaches during pregnancy.

I've had a constant headache for 3 weeks now.... it goes from throbbing miserable pain, to something "tolerable". I brought this up to my OB at my last appt and he said it could be from caffeine withdrawal, stress, or hormones. It could be dehydration too but it's less likely. He suggested relaxing more. So we'll see if that works...
