I got my first, unprompted and understandable spoken 'Mommy' from Nate the other night. He picked up a pile of books, said 'Mommy' and brought them over to me.

We have been just taking DS to the potty as instructed by the ABA therapist and the daycare teacher. ABA therapist said she did things backwards with the potty training but she is new and is learning.

We recently heard DS ask to use the potty 3 days ago without a PEC!

I told our ABA therapist and she said that DS has been asking at daycare and he has been asking with her.

I am the last to know because I work but that is okay. I will take it as a first to me!

Christopher's pronunciation is getting better and clearer.  He's still mostly speaking in echolalia but some of the songs he's singing are now much easier to make out the words.  He's also back to making requests in full sentences.  He had fallen back to two word requests.

A sad milestone--dd had her last swim group for ei today. Of course she was so cranky for it. I'm going to miss it so much--it had been a favorite part of our week for over a year now. (

DD1 has been such a sweetheart lately. DH was sick over break, and I was taking the girls out to give him some rest time. DD1 said, "I think I should stay here with Dadda to keep him company. And I can put some soup on his bedside table if he needs it." 

She just had her 6th birthday over break as well. She is so excited about it. She keeps saying things like, "I think my muscles are stronger now that I'm six," and since DH has been teasing her that she looks like a six-year-old, "I think all my friends will think I'm in a disguise!"

I don't know if this is a brag per a tough week secondary to being snowed in with atypical DD for 4-5 days....however, DD sang "soft kitty" from the Big Bang Theory to sleep tonight. I just thought this was totally awesome Therapy x 3 due to snow-ins tomorrow, I hope they all survive :P
