Gif on an iPad

Hello ladies, I need your help and I've tried searching for this but I haven't found any clear answers. I think I gif'ed once by just copying the HTML ad pasting into the text box, but it doesn't seem to be working anymore. I just keep posting links. The bar above the text box isn't highlighted so I can't click on any picture boxes or links. Anyone on an iPad who can help me with this? Thanks in advance.

Thank you! And you know, I had to go onto my computer to see what you typed because the < img src = the link of the gif > didn't show on the iPad. Just a question mark box popped up. So strange. But glad I know now!
