so last night was fun

We live in south west VA and it was -10 last night. Power went out at 10:15, we have propane downstairs so staying warm wasn't an issue. I relazied my cell was nearly dead so I had to fix my computer to not go to sleep so it could keep my cell up and I had to find a corded phone. SIL ended up spending the night because she has no back up heat at her apt. DD woke up at 11:15 went into a coughing fit and power puked in our bed. SIL helped clean up while DH and I tried to keep DD calm and clean her up, we had some hot water that we used sparingly. DD, SIL and I slept downstairs. DD was in the pack and play until she woke up around 2 or so and went into bed with is (power came back on at 1 or so). I have no recollection of how she ended up in her crib but she slept there till 745.

I should add DD wanted to play when she woke up but she was only up for about 2 hours. I was exhausted today and now battling a menstrual migraine

SIL ended up back at our house to get ready for work, her power didn't get restored until this afternoon. I am thankful our pipes didn't freeze.
